Early Years (Birth to Early Life)

Ruth Hidalgo was born in the jungle city of Pucallpa, Peru. Her complicated birth led Victor Posada, the first national missionary from Peru to the indigenous in the jungle, to pray for her safe birth and dedicate her as a future missionary, taking his place as a Peruvian missionary.. Despite this, Ruth aspired to become an educator in Lima, Peru’s capital, and succeeded beyond her dreams, becoming a credentialed teacher in a prestigious school.
