Our journey begins with the belief that the earth is a divine gift, a meeting place between heaven and earth where God’s handiwork is evident in every tree, river, and creature. As stewards of Creation, we are called to serve and preserve the environment, ensuring that the beauty and life it holds can be enjoyed by generations to come. RiverWind is actively engaged in educational efforts with local government schools, helping teachers and students value and care for their local environment. We have also played a role in protecting undeveloped land from harmful clear-cutting practices and have welcomed researchers to study and document the rich biodiversity of the Peruvian rainforest.

Working with The Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies, we have contributed to research that highlights the importance of preserving these lands. Each discovery reminds us of the intricate balance of life that God has created and our responsibility to maintain it.
