The Process of Transformation
Blending tradition and modernity to foster effective communication.
Understanding that many of the communities we serve are primarily oral cultures, we emphasize the importance of storytelling as a key mode of communication. As these communities transition from an oral-based culture to a reading culture, we provide bilingual resources in both their native tongues and Spanish. This approach ensures that everyone, from the oldest to the youngest, can engage with and understand the Scriptures.

Stories Passed Down
For generations, the history and ancestry of these indigenous communities have been passed down through storytelling. We respect and preserve this tradition by integrating storytelling into our leadership training. This method not only honors their cultural heritage but also strengthens the connection between generations.
Equipping Leaders for the Future
In collaboration with the Bible Society of Perú, we are training Shipibo leaders and teachers in linguistics. This training enables them to translate Biblical materials into the Shipibo language, ensuring that the Scriptures are accessible to all. By doing so, we help bridge the gap between oral and reading cultures, empowering leaders to effectively communicate God’s Word to their communities.
